AI explains and orchestrates; deterministic engines are the source of truth. Every number traces to an engine output or a citation, so the grounded-explain path can't introduce a fact it wasn't given.
A first-class gate on every design and every generated candidate. Prefers the production-grade commec screen, never silently skipped, and blocks are never auto-remediated.
The data store is open-export by design: outputs open directly in the tools you already use, and ELN export is one-way and opt-in. We attack lock-in; we won't become it.
